At Intervale Compost products, we regularly test our compost and soil products to ensure that our customers are getting the best quality products available. Compost analysis is also done as part of our certification requirements of the US Composting Council’s Seal of Testing Assurance program (STA).

Additional Product Analysis
In addition to analysis of physical characteristics, nutrients, metals, pathogens, and phytoxicity, Intervale Compost Products regularly tests for level of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). PAHs are a group of compounds formed from incomplete combustion that are normally present in varying concentrations in urban environments. For a more thorough discussion of PAHs, click here.
